mahmoodlab/CORAL

New from the lab behind CLAM, UNI, CONCH and TITAN, all of which are catalogued. Worth watching on that track record alone; too new to catalogue until there is a paper and a stated licence.

In brief

Regulatory

No new pathology device clearances this week.

Both 510(k) records returned under the pathology product codes were already catalogued. That is a normal week — clearances in this space arrive a few times a year, not weekly.

Product codes watched: QPN (AI algorithms in digital pathology), SFH/SHW (prognostic algorithms), PSY (whole slide imaging systems), QKQ (viewing and management software), PZZ, OEO. See FDA-cleared entries.

Not included, and why

97 candidates were surfaced; 13 appear above. Most of the remainder were personal or coursework repositories from GitHub's recently-created feed — real work, but not yet something to recommend to a stranger.

Nothing was excluded for being critical, unfashionable, or from an unfamiliar group. If something notable is missing, say so — that is the correction this list most needs.

He teaches doctors with no coding background to use AI in their own work — live, hands-on, on their own cases and documents rather than on a demonstration dataset.

Learn it hands-on

Workshops run by the editor, for doctors starting from nothing. These are his own paid teaching — a commercial interest, stated here rather than left to be noticed.
